Sorry to hear your sad news Stepmum - knowing it is coming doesn't make it any easier.
Sending big virtual hugs to you.
Everyone is doing really well on the money making front - just to let you know, Toluna are working their way through the vouchers again. I received my redeem from November today, but December and the two for Feb are still saying processing. It could be another couple of months for the Feb ones, so at least we know they are on the way again.
Twinkle - I'd love to see a photo of your cheesecake anyway. I might not be able to eat any but I can Look.I lost 2.5lbs at weight watchers today.
Rufus - what did you sew yesterday? Anything nice? Post a pic.
Mmmm what else was I supposed to say .................. Oh, I know. My Dooyoo review is up and running again now. Zangles if you've still got your review, you can either re-post it now (as it's working again) or you can wait a few days for the first one to turn up - Dooyoo said it was saved on the server and it will be posted as soon as they can get around to them. There must be loads.
So what did we all get nice for Valentines Day?I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hi everyone
I'm back from skiing but on crutches, so am hoping I get lots of surveys through. I've damaged my knee, but luckily it was on the last day. I'm going stir crazy already
Hugs to all those who have lost someone recently, and hope all the poorlies are better soon.
T stilll haven't sorted out my verification so I can't do anything on there - do they normally reply to emails ?
Sorry to hear about all your bp problems, that's what happened last time - all our mobiles were suddenly unverified. Good luck if you try to chase them up.

Well ladies, a little update for your afternoon and make you smile.
Why oh why do I decide to bake? I can't do it, I have never been able to bake, but I got something into my little head that was like 'oh a cheesecake, they're easy peasy ANYONE can make a cheesecake.
So there I am in the kitchen, bashing up my oreos indo black dust, scooping out the insides and eating them. That was mistake numero uno, don't eat a whole packet of the white centers of oreos, I still feel sick from two hours ago :S
So I'm quite happily, oif a little sick at this point, squishing my buttery crumb mixture into the tin, and there isn't enough to give a nice thick base. So I have to open another packet of oreos (decide not to eat the centers of this packet) and smash them up. The little bag that I was smashing them up in broke, so my kitchen was covered in black dust....
Mistake number two: don't guess the weight of things, especially when the recipe is american and all in cups. And tesco value bags are carp for smashing up biscuits.
Time to make the filling, happily beating up my eggs, sugar and philly, add in my vanilla and it looks a bit thin, but don't think anything of it. Pour it onto the base and pop it in the oven, go and have a look ten mins later and my oven is covered in cheesecake filling. It has leaked out of the bottom of the tin, off the baking sheet that I carefully put it on and all over the floor of my oven.
Seriously ladies, why did I do it?! I put my poo cake in the bin, and attempted numero dos with a nice english recipe from James Martin. It looks a bit thin (ran out of cheese!!) but I think it's edible. OH has asked if he has to lie when he eats it. It doesn't sound promising!! Will post a pic later when it's sliced up!!Dribbling my way to £11k... so far £653.69/£11000

Ahhh bless - you sound just like me.
I can't cook for toffee - but I do try. I even had cookery lessons for a year.
It's not my fault - I blame the cooker - everything is either burnt or raw
Ooh Twinkle - I do like the sound of those cheesecakes though. Can you post us the links please if it's on the internet?I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

I found all my Christmas cards in a bag in the boot of my car today (which I luckily forgot to recycle) so I'm going to spend tonight making some home made gift tags for next Christmas. I have plenty of gift tags, but you can never have too many!0
