Ahh that's nice mum2one, but I didn't do it - you did. Be proud of yourself, I am - everyone's doing brilliantly :D

How's Miss Hoodie and your Mum and Dad? I haven't been on the other thread for a while - I don't seem to have the time - but I will make a special effort from tomorrow. I have done most of the challenge though ;)

You're on here early tonight, it's lovely to see you posting.

Don't forget to update your spreadsheet. :D

We didn't do too bad, sold 11 out of 23 items, the dearest was the Gloves, but before postage, fees, paypal cut made £51. Reckon should be about £30 in profit.

Quiet here, Miss Hoodie been bullied at school, so we've had fun and games, but I'm in 2mor reading with the class below hers - so at least close by. xx

How does selling on ebay work (on a free weekend I mean)? Do you have to pay paypal fees? If so how much are they likely to cost? I'm thinking of waiting until the next free weekend to sell stuff on there but not sure whether it's worth it if the fees are high on paypal

If its free weekend your listings are free, but ebay take a percentage of the final sale, and then paypal fees, there is a quide to fees.

I work on the basis of 10% to paypal, 5% ebay, give or take a few pence not far out. xx

Morning guys and well done to all those who listed on ebay this weekend and to those who had things finish and sell. I listed lots last night as sat home alone after a sad day. My OH Grandad died last night, he has been ill for over a year now and we thought we were losing him many times so although we knew this time was on it's way I think we thought he would rally again but he didn't. A blessing for him and he told us many times over the last 6 months that he was ready. It is only sad for those left behind. So as Oh was in Andover I sat and listed and did surveys as hate going to bed alone so wait until I'm practically asleep.
Also Jack and Erins last day today at preschool as it is closing. We have a meeting today to see if they have sorted any alternatives but not got much hope. A ridiculous situation to leave 40+ children with no preschool to go to. I can feel my gob running away with me this morning if they try to fob us off lol

    Take care
    Jayne xx

Sorry to hear about your loss Stepmum, hope you get the kids sorted too xx

I kept checking loonie yesterday but nothing going so in the end went up and spent the day sewing. I did write a review for doou but it didnt work so have emailed them to see what they are doing about the ones that didnt show up. I had two people comment too, probs saying we cant read your review but I couldnt read the comments either lol. Hope they sort it this time so we dont lose out as for once I managed to find something from level one to review.
  • Hi ladies, I'm back!

Sorry I've been a bit distant the last week or so, been busy having a breakdown - but I'm ok now. Had 50 orders  to do this weekend, as well as drinking through the rugby and redecorating. Busy busy busy. Totals aren't what I'd like them to be BUT every little helps. I'm aiming to get one voucher/redeem per week (last week I got a cone survey so that's a grand total of £3!). Need to get back into doovous so hopefully will have some time today to get a couple on there. Will also have a little read at what you've all been writing!

Anyway, happy Valentines everyone :happylove x

You still have to pay the following fees on a free listing: (You only have to pay these if the item sells)
    • Final value fee which is 10% of the selling price
    • Paypal fees which is 3.4% + 20p (total received i.e. selling price plus postage)
All you save on a free listing weekend is the listing fee if you start the item at £1+. Listing fees range from 10p to £1.30. For more info click on below link and scroll down to fee table.

  • Sorry to hear of your loss stepmum.

As rufusdog said dooyoo seems to be up and running this morning.

I have a busy day ahead today. Post office in the nearest town is my first stop. OH busy today too, he has work then this afternoon he is gardening for a family friend so will be hectic to for me trying to get everything done with the boys as well!

I see another money making day out of the window!

    Have a good day everyone.

I seemed to dip out on a lot of the new review ratings yesterday on my one that didnt show up as now its not a new review anymore. I am hoping it will pick up during the day, been doing some ratings this morning so hopefully people will rate back. Only has one rating so far lol.

I feel shattered today after sewing all day yesterday, was going to have a days rest and sit and do some more bits on here but my friend's just texted me to meet up this afternoon so might as well go and see her as its a nice day out and haven't seen her for a couple of weeks.
