Oh no, I have a massive problem now...
Went to update my present list to find it's not on my computer! It wasn't deleted as I checked through my bin which is never emptied and searched my computer which could only find it in recent, but when I click it it can't find the file!!
I don't know what has happened, and now I have no idea of what's been bought, how much has been spent etc.
What an awfl start to the day, I have no idea what I am going to do!Comping wishlist for 2017

Oh no! That's not good! Maybe you could try and make a new one on paper and if you can remember how much everything you bought cost then add it on?0

Have you tried searching for just an excel sheet, or is it in your RECENTs folder? mine was not where I thought it was either
Search for *.xls on your drives and it will search your whole pc for excel files.
hope you find it. xSaving 2.00 coinsGrocerys set to 40.00 pwBeing Thrifty0 -
Thanks ladies, hubby thought it was mildly amusing. Yesterday I was searching for images and then one of those virus pop up things came up saying virus and I immediatly shut the window down knowing it could be trouble. Did a virus check and it found a detection of something java like, anyway went into quarantine and comp is fine but hubby reckons that my missing file was the file that became infected.
It's so annoying I keep it in the same folder with a sheet showing my money making progress, last years present list and similar things and I had only updated it two days ago. Definately gone though, not there when I search, only has a shortcut which says that the document has been moved or deleted.
Debating whether to sort through all the christmas bits and bobs later and try to salvage it or not. Luckily I ordered most things online so have invoices for items but I will be hard pushed to remember everything.
Surveys seem a little slow today too, do they not have new ones over the weekends? On the bright side the 0 feedback bidder has been outbid and hopefully my settings will prevent them being able to bid again, much happier selling to someone with a few good feedback than none at all.
How is everyone else getting on? Hugs to all who are ill, me and little one are ill too.Comping wishlist for 2017

Savvy - I thought something similar had happened to me the other day. I have one spreadsheet with three pages and have everything on there like things I have bought, how much etc as well as all the vouchers etc I have got so far this year. I would be totally lost without it. I switched on my computer and it seemed to start up ok then hung with just a black screen for ages longer than it has done before. After 10 mins of nothing I tried turning it off and on again but it still wouldn't start up. I am usually such a stickler for backing up my files onto dvds and usually have two or three copies of everything somewhere or other but I hadn't copied the spreadsheet on to anything this year yet. I was panicking thinking I had lost everything, then the next time I switched it on it came on ok with no probs, so I copied the file onto out laptop for now so I have a copy at least.0

So, me and my boyfriend are having a thrifty gifty valentines day meal. He's cooking lasagne (and surprise starter!) and I'm taking over fondue with tesco value marshmallows and I've just thrown together some shortbread from the leftover butter and flower which has been begging to be used! I'm debating stopping off at the shop to get some champagne but it's probably quite expensive (I've never bought it before) and I'm not sure whether he's allergic to it cuz he's allergic to certain fruits! I might just get some cheap cider instead
How is everybody else spending their thrifty gifty valentines day?0 -

Really interesting read through all the posts. I am new to all of this but really want to get involved and be organised for christmas 2011.
Got £60 on my tesco christmas savers card and would appreciate any hints and tips for other ideas.January
