Hi All,
I'm new(ish) to MSE and am determined that 2011 will be a good year for us and we will manage to clear some debt/save some money!!
I have signed up for Quidco...although have not yet used it! Can't wait to start making some cashback on purchases0 -
Thanks Kirsty and Elysia, I'm also going to email my old Uni and see if they can send an email round to the students on the course with the books that I've got for sale - see if I can get around paying Amazon any fees and maximise my income. Your money saving ways are rubbing off on me!
I haven't sold anything on Amazon before so may take you up on that Kirsty - thanks.Dribbling my way to £11k... so far £653.69/£11000

Thanks Elysia, think i will see how i get on with the other two survey sites befor tryin another. I have not had any through yet from valued opinions. I have had a look at nct for the baby stuff but they take 30% and not sure it woul be worth it. A car boot sale sounds a good idea as we have so much stuff that really could do with going. Weekends are always so busy though.Looking forward to new ventures :beer:0

Hi MamaG - I've been signed up to Quidco and TopCashBack for a year and am going to start properly using it this year too. Have you signed up to a couple of survey sites too?
Zangels - have you thought about putting a listing on GumTree?Dribbling my way to £11k... so far £653.69/£11000

I have joined onepoll and my balance is £3.10 now so hopefully will get to £40 by the end of the year, joined valued opinions as well but have not had any surveys from them yet. Quidco has tracked my sainsburys order now so have started off my account with 50p, what a shame I didn't know of this site before I could have earned lots of cashback last year I am always ordering from Next, dottys P's etc (that I am cutting out in 2011 though!)
I have realised I have too many CD's so my plan is to sort through them today to sell on ebay or I have heard about musicmagpie, has anyone used this site?Aiming to completely pay off the credit card in 2012!0 -

Valued Opinions – Payment at £10 – can redeem for Amazon instantly or collect HMV, Tesco, Marks and Spencer, John Lewis, Topman, Marriot Hotel/Spa vouchers, Argos, Boots or donate to a charity. Paper vouchers usually arrive in 4 weeks. Surveys vary in length and payment. You will always be informed how long it should take, and they are generally spot on. On occasions there are opportunities to join online forums where you earn extra cash, in addition to the surveys.
ok, so yesterday I went to join this site and I realised that I had joined it years ago but never ever had done any surveys.. I had only partially completed the relevant surveys on myself. So I've now done this but its still showing as no surveys that I'm eligible to complete. It also says it will email me if there are any? How often does this happen for most people?0 -
Kec09 - I've used Musicmagpie a couple of times in the past. Unless CDs & DVDs are a lil bit unusual/uncommon your only likely to get 30p each for them, so always best to try ebay first. I've always found them reliable though.ther
If people are signing up for things can they PLEASE help others out on here & ask if anyone can PM them a referal or such like. Many sites will give extra points/cash if they refer people to the site. You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -

Referals are a good idea, didn't think of that! Can anyone refer me to topcashback please?Aiming to completely pay off the credit card in 2012!0 -

Maybe we need a code word to introduce ourselves as MSE members on there and have a little natter amongst ourselves0
