Hello Whichway - You are very, very welcome to join. Please take a few moments to read through the first few posts, and if you don't already - join a survey site, one a day is fine. You'll be money making in no time.

Thanks Twinkle. If you sell the vouchers on ebay - you will have listing/paypal fees, couldn't you just ask someone you know (very well) to swap them for cash if they are using those shops anyway. ;)

Sorry if I sound like a killjoy, but vouchers aren't covered under Royal Mail, even if you did recorded delievery, hopefully someone can swop that you know.
Or just another thought, but can you get some jewellery, purses, accessories etc ready for presents xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Legendmum - you can earn 1,000 points per day by posting on the forum 10 times. The best thing to do, is play 18 on auto (click 18 on the top right hand corner and while you are playing minmise the page and do some of your posts, then do the same thing again. If you play between 8 - 9pm the winnings are higher. I've been back on the site 3 days and haven't won anything but I'm up to nearly 8,000 points. Once you have played your 2,000 points (by doing what I've said for a week) you can claim £5 amazon voucher once you reach 10,000 points.

Top tip for any newbies - check out the survey section, I went on there the other day and there was about 8 or 9 questions worth 250 points each. It's worth checking here every now and again for extra points.

Well done Kirsty - I'm so proud of you!

Well done winning your lines - but If you go on between 8-9pm the jackpot is 2,000, so if you do win, it bumps your points up more. I know, it's finding the time though, but also, if more people play then, there will be more people on the forum posting, so it is a little less boring. ;)

ETA: Did you do the survey section yet?

  • Thanks for the advice ladies. I think that the problem with me sometimes is that I take the easy way out - which may not be the most MSE way.

Well done Kirsty! I think I would actually have a little dance around my living room if I won anything.

OH has got the most severe case of man flu ever today and is currently feeling very sorry for himself on the sofa with the dog leaving me to sort the post Christmas bomb site out now the kids have gone. Quick question regarding some old Uni text books - where do you think the best place to sell them would be? Amazon, eBay, other....?
Dribbling my way to £11k... so far £653.69/£11000

  • Hi everyone, I'm back again as I always am at this time of year with good intentions, unfortunately I get bored getting signed out of surveys after spending 15mins+ on each, annoying customers on ebay who dont read the descriptions properly, etc etc etc & normally fade out. This year I am going to TRY my HARDEST to keep going. I really need to as money just seems to get tighter & tighter.

I spent yesterday doing surveys and doing a lil sale shopping for ds1s birthday via quidco & nectar. During Jan I plan to organise stuff to sell on ebay, wash, iron, spruce up etc, take piccies & write the html all ready to start listing in feb, at least 3 items a week.
I'm also going to try & enter at least 1 comp a day in 2011 to try & win potential presents/treats/cash. I won a couple of nice things in 2010 such as a book set which made a fab pressie, a lush set, scrapbook items - it takes patience, an extra email addy & a lil bit of time but I definately think its worth it.

I have just joined one poll, so now am going to do that as well as valued opinions and also the bingoport. What are good comps to do? Also is toludo? ? ? not sure of spelling worth doing? I have som big baby things to sell like pushcahir ,car seat , high chair, change unit and not sure of the best place? Any advice?
Looking forward to new ventures

Zangels - Toluna is surveys, and they usually take about 20 mins each. They vary considerably in value but you can get about 5 or 6 a day sometimes. If you don't like surveys, just take the quick polls, your money won't mount up very quickly (unless you do the surveys as well) but it all extra funds.

Re: the pushchair etc. You would get more money and prospective purchasers on ebay, but you would have to have someone local to collect them from your home. With a carboot, you wouldn't get as much money in my opinion, but it is much less hassle and you can have a big sort out and get rid of lots of stuff in one go. Let us know what you decide and how you get on. :)
