Hy folks, can I join please? fell by the wayside last year, but am hopefully starting early enough this year
(I was scattystudent on here but lost my log in details and !!!!!!ed if I can get back into the account)
Hi and welcome, lets hope you can stick around all year but as they say every little helps.EBAY Question - a lady emailed me and said she was interested in alot of my stuff but would I combine the postage. A lot of it is on at 99p. So not sure on what to do????
I always say yes on postage combines as encourages people to buy. I wait till the end and then knock off 50p or a £1 but you can check what it will cost first to post altogether.Very thrify went to Boots sale - 1st shop spent £48.50, should have been £194, then to the other Boots and spent £38.50 (154) they were very mse - put them on dads credit card!!
Best bargain was the chinese set - £18. down to £4.50, and some of those hat boxes, to finish off presents with,
Treated myself got the strcitly vanity case, down to £10. A good day xx
I love how mse your boots buys was - Dads credit card!! Love it.
I have probably the smallest boots shop in the world and they only had 3 small shelves when it was 50% so nothing left now. Would go into Exeter but with my leg just not worth it, plus it would be 45 min travel so petrol too.
Redeemed on bp so pleased with that, good watching my amazon credit mounting up.
Off now to do surveys as had loads come through yesterday and this morning, if I don't get screened out I should have a good morning.
Have fun in bp tonight I'll beat my local bingo so will play during day.

Just done some surveys on loony, up to 67.000 points on there. still not getting anything added for opinions so not going to bother with them just the polls and surveys. Did my own one the other day but only had 13 peeps write on it so not worth the trouble.
Had some surveys from other sites which I completed so points going up all round gradually.
My sewing machine is working again so had a little go on it yesterday.
Off out today as its my Mums birthday so taking some flowers to the crem.0 -
Help
Sorry to keep on about my ebay item i sold.
I sold it for £45 and i used special delivery, because i had a bad feeling about this. Dont know why
Anyhow, buyer bought and paid, i went to post office posted. Next day noticed email saying can he cancel, as he didnt want it. It was too late it was in post .
He received it and made a claim to ebay saying he didnt want it. I said post it back and he should pay some of the postage as he`d changed his mind.
he said he is not, and now its faulty, it wont load. He has now sent another email this morning saying the buttons missing. I think hes sending me a different one back. But i have the postcode on mine in ultraviolet light.
There was nothing at all wrong with this, it was hardly used, in the box with all original paperwork still in the wrapper, there was a couple of minor marks on it which was in the description, but you could hardly see. The thing was perfect and i sent a game with it.
What do I do?
This is why i hate ebay as I have 565 positives and two negatives from people with less than 10 positives, this one has 14.
Its so annoying, i havent received my psp back yet and am waiting, but i think hes broke it deliberatly all because he changed his mind

What a pain, I hate it when things go wrong like this.
What I would do is say if the item is faulty you will refund but he needs to send it back by special delivery which is required by paypal for tracking purposes, and of course the value is over £41 so it would have to be special delivery. The buyer is to pay returns postage, do not offer to pay postage - returns are always at buyers expense.
I would also state that the one you sold was security marked and this will be checked upon return, I have heard this has put off people returning a different broken item.
If you are really stuck ebay have live help and they may be able to give better advice and/or step in.Comping wishlist for 2017

I think Savvy has summed it up really well. £45 means that it would have to come back to you SD and make sure you mention it was originally security marked. Returns are always at buyers expense. Sounds fishy considering they didn't want it as it was the wrong model, but have still played with it.... We're all here if you need any more advice hun. x
Rufus, it's a beautiful day here, I hope it is wherever you are xxDribbling my way to £11k... so far £653.69/£11000

Its a new user, I`m still waiting for it coming back but have just realised he put it on ebay for a BIN price last night so I`ve reported him to ebay. He had taken photos of my item and advertised it for sale.Saying its fully working and evrything.
I probably be the looser in this but it so annoying. I paid £7 postage to make sure it gets there and couldnt sleep last night as OH is away and had visions of someone knocking on the door as they dont live too far away
I know now why I dont go on ebay often.Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -

If they have put a claim in, get a screen shot of the listing they have placed and upload it as evidence to support your side of the claim, show that it has been listed after the claim was made.
If you really think you are going to get stung on this, and I would never usually suggest this, do not sign for the package, either refuse delivery or don't answer the door. It will go to the post office to await your collection. If you leave it there and don't then they will have no proof it was sent back and you should win the claim.
Like I say I wouldn't usually suggest this but it is clear they are trying to pull a fast one.Comping wishlist for 2017

susan that is shocking and I hope ebay do something about it.
I did my BP posts yesterday and wanted to say thank you for your help - I actually posted outside of the newbies forum!
not sure what happened on BP last night but I went on 18 auto and after every game new cards were purchased automatically so I ended up playing 3 games before I realised:eek: is this what it means by auto - I have never had this happen before but maybe I have closed the page in time. I will never get to 10000 points at this rate:rotfl:saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Susan I am so sorry! Some people! As others have said send evidence he has listed item to ebay and see what they say! Dont stress too much hun! Whats his address do you want me to go around? Nobody messes with Legend! lol hugs xxx
Bunbun when you put on auto it purchases cards for 5 games so it would have bought 18 cards for 5 games which would have been 180 points spent! We say run on auto because most of us forget to buy cards cos we are too busy chatting! Dont forget you need to spend 2000 points in order to redeem. So from a Thurday morning till 10pm on a Wednesday night you need to make sure you have spent 2000 points! Some people dont play and just post everyday till they have 12000 points then play the 2000 and redeem! Up to you hun!
Bargains galore today ladies! Wilkinsons 10p sale has started! Well its only on Christmas gift wrap and tags and bows but alot of toys and books etc are now 75% off! Plus some food stuff was 50% off so I spent £17 in 4 different trips with DS!
Also on Wilkos website there are some Peppa Pig Bargains! Saw it on grabbit and ordered 4 sets for £12 but they were originally £20 each!!!
At this rate Christmas and Birthdays be done by end of February!!!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!
