Has anyone seen that there is a meet in prestatyn pontins on BP on the weekend of the royal wedding? I have just looked and for three nights fri/sat/sun it is £149 for a budget room. I am quite tempted, would be good to meet some of you lot too?
    What do you think?

Hope you don't think I'm being cheeky, but the budget rooms haven't had very good press at the Prestatyn site, - if you can upgrade I would def say upgrade, - it does depend on how much time your in the room for. Its a site that could do with a major refit... x

Gemini - It def sounds fishy as why she wanted to avoid ins - but you did the right thing, this may sound daft, (but from experience), if you can get some photos of the damage done to both cars - just to be on safe side

I've just ordered my first voucher of 2011, £10 Boots from VO. That go ready for 2012 sales......

Been productive 2ngt and cut the christmas cards into gift tags, even Bailey (the dog) tried to get in on the act by raiding the cards.

Found a couple more bits for ebay bag - 2 nightdresses bnwts- started a list of what need for hols - though check nightwear 1st and theres that same size as what I wear, different style -
But with Miss Hoodie and her growth spurts got to check her summer clothes (brought sales ready for this yr) - they were big at the time... so thats next on the list.
    Quiet otherwise.

If anyone is free Thursday dinnertime - would they like to go to the dentist for me, having my crown fitted (help!!). any offers greatly appriciated xx

Sorry to hear about your problems gemini, and i must be truthful, if the damage is not too bad to her car I wouldnt have gone through insurance, not that I have anything to hide but excesses are so expensive and premiums so high. I like to have a quote for damage. BUt as soon as she become abusive I would have said use insurance that way its out of your hands and she`ll think twice about blocking you in next time.:D

Well i remembered why I dont like ebay, I sold an item for £45, the buyer paid straight away so I took it to the post office, I advertised it free delivery but I posted it special £7.95. I pay the extra because I have had parcels disappear in the past for the post office to tell me they`re not covered. I just got an email from buyer saying they dont want it now. They want a different model.....arrrrgggg here we go. Negative feedback for me as whatever i do it`ll be wrong and I dont see why I should refund whole amount. Help, what do you think?

Sorry if i moaned too much tonight ladies tough day! Kids eh? The things they do to us! I have had a mini pig out and feel bad about it now! Oops!

Hunny that is what I loved about this site when I [STRIKE]stalked[/STRIKE] follwed you all last year, the support and the way that it seemed like a group of friends chatting. It's not all about good days and fun it's about real life and dodgy days too.

I will pm you the name of that book as even if ds only shows some traits it may help.

hope today is better for you

Thansk Stepmum! So far so good today! lol

Susan you really dont have the best time of it on the old Ebay do you! Um I dont know what to say I would say sorry but you have paid for it and I only refund if item is faulty and its not so you sort it! But thats me I am a bit of a mouthy moo! lol
It isnt really your problem though as they purchased the wrong model and it was their error! If you do refund I would make sure that they return it by the same method of posting as you and make sure you cancel the transaction with Ebay so you dont get charged fees and you can relist it for free!
That reminds me I better go and see who has paid for their items! DS has hidden the roll of bown paper somewhere so may have to get the carrier bags out!

It's a tough one - you could either get her to send it back to you and her pay for the postage then you refund her meaning you are £8 out of pocket, but no negative feedback, or, open up a claim with ebay if she starts kicking off. There are instances that buyers a 'allowed' to have refunds (I clicked buy it now by mistake is actually one of them), but I don't think I don't want it any more is a valid reason. By winning the auction they entered into a contract with you, whereby you provide the goods they bided upon and they pay for them. Have you looked through the buyers help section, is there anything in there about what to do? If you're still in doubt about what to do you could contact ebay for advice xx

Legend sounded like you had a tough day yesterday. Like Step said this is real life and not everything is roses. If you need a rant, rant away. I'm sure no one will mind x

Mum2one, you sound super organised. I struggle to get out of bed in the mornings let alone cut up cards and sort out clothes for the summer!! I'll pass on the dentist thanks, already have a fear of them which is strange considering my dad is one :S

Tranmere, my points haven't been added on 2lna for my opinions either. If it takes them 6-10 weeks to send a voucher then I'm assuming the same timeframe for points!

Keep going with the surveys esmer, you'll have a flurry of them soon enough.

Any more news on the car this morning Gemini?

Nothing today yet about the car. I have left it all to the insurance companys to deal with. I do know mine are considering knock for knock as by deliberately blocking me in and refusing to move on a public road she was comitting an offence but I am not counting any chickens.
Off now to do some housework :(and then the shopping that I couldnt face yesterday after the car problems.
Hope all have a good day.

susan - that's so frustrating!! If I bought something that was the wrong model, I'd consider it MY fault and I'd probably re-sell it. People like that are so lazy. I don't know what advice to give......sorry hun. The others seem to have more experienced advice though!!

gemini - good luck on your car!!
