QVC praise

I've been awaiting a total of 6 parcels from various companies (BHS, M&S, Thorntons etc) some of which are from orders made in mid November. Each one of these companies has been utterly useless, totally unhelpful and refusing to refund until the goods turn up back at them some time in 2011.
I also ordered goods from QVC which were despatched on Dec10th and as they hadn't arrived today I called them to find out how they had been sent. I was hoping it was by Royal Mail however sadly they are in the clutches of Hermes so highly unlikely to make it to me before Christmas.
I explained to the adviser the issues I was having with other packages in the hands of Hermes and also that although the goods weren't a Christmas gift I'm off on holiday on Boxing day and not back in the country until Jan 17th so couldn't return anything if it turned up in theafter then and wasn't suitable.
The QVC customer service rep immediately advised she would refund me in full and send out a form for completion. She apologised profusely for the non delivery, stating it was completely unacceptable and said there was no problem with the fact that I wouldn't be able to return the declaration form until mid January but the refund would go through anyway.
What a contrast to the others. M&S, BHS etc could learn a thing or two from QVC!

I have found QVC to be very reasonable 99% of the time. Not ordered so much recently but at one time I ordered and return several items with no problems even tho I had used a lot of the products (beauty stuff).0
