Your Best and Worst 2010

Who made you glad and who made you mad in 2010?

Mad

Samsung UK for the ridiculous returns policy that saw us running round repair centres and spending hours on the phone to try and get a 3 week old phone repaired. The Ultimate insult was when I was asked why I wasn't calling from the broken handset.....

Glad :D

Russ Berrie Toys, who when I asked where in the UK I could buy a Raggedy Andy to go with my much loved Raggedy Ann sourced one in the USA and sent him to me free of charge.
Brilliant.

Sorry Pullip, I had to laugh, I have had that done to me in the past.

Ok Mad 2010 would have to be waiting 5 hours stuck with Baby at his designated hospital appointment, I was sure to be a good 20 Mins early for his early Morning appointment, only to find us waiting a further 30 mins for a weigh in, then sent back to the waiting room for the Doc, who took 5 hours, at which point poor baby was hungry after only 1 bottle and made sure everyone knew about it.

Glad 2010 would definitely be Babies 1st Christmas, a truly memorable event that I will never forget. ;)

Real head desk moment it was. I think I gave up at that point

  • Okay...

Mad - Santander for a number of reasons. All you have to do is search the forums if you require examples of their unbelievable incompetance.

Glad - A little website called funky farm scrap book barn. I actually can not rave about the level of customer service given, it was amazing! The quality of goods recieved was outstanding and prompt (and very good value for money, i'm told) and it resulted in a very very happy MIL!!
  • Mad- easy, along with many other complainants NATIONWIDE BUILDING SOCIETY for a number of reasons, not least of which is the lies their "customer service" staff tell !

Glad - easy again - my lovely family and also some of the peeps on this forum who have made me laugh out loud with some of their posts !

I do hope they did not connect:beer:

My down point, Freda not too well.

Up point being given a present for Freda by one of my Beaver Scouts, who walked all the way through the snow to do so.

Poigiant Moment. When the Beaver's did their cards a couple of weeks back, I minded them while they were doing so and asked what they buy me for Christmas.

Without hesitation, they mentioned a machine to make me 50 years younger!

Best I not mention the DnD
