Royal Mail online postage complaint

From time to time I use the online postage service from Royal Mail, so far its always worked brilliantly:D
Except for 2 weeks ago.
I wanted to send something by special delivery and knew I had the funds in my RM account so used the online service. Everything went well until I printed out my envelope.
Right through the middle of the envelope in big black bold writing SAMPLE making the address and the envelope useless, so I tried again, and the same result!!
I followed the online claim for a refund, which only gives you a few options, none of which included my issue, so I picked the closest and waited for their reply.
An emailed reply was received 4 days later, stating that nothing was wrong with my purchase, so no refund would be issued. Also in the email there was an address I could write to for appeal.
I sent a letter the following day, explaining the problem in full and raising the issue about lack of options when requesting a refund. I also sent a test print copy of my purchase and actual print of the envelope that I would have posted.
Today I received a reply claiming there is nothing wrong with my print out and no refund would be issued:eek:
Now everytime before when I've used this service, when you get to the print postage bit, it always displays it with the word sample across the middle but also says in a small box that "Sample" will not appear when printed, and it never has done before;)
What can I do, as I'm £5.05 out of pocket here?

Just make sure you don't use the online stamp service for your written complaints I guess.0 -
There is a known issue at the moment printing postage through Chrome.
If this fits your scenario, phone the customer support desk and explain the problem, they refunded my postage with no problems.
Hope this helps!

[Rant On]
The Royal Mail Website is a complete joke!
The first time I used it was last year to pay an excess delivery charge on a letter. That was a nightmare. The site was bugged to bits and the local Post Office staff had never heard of paying excess postage online, despite the card left by my postman saying it was an option. Ended up paying twice in the end.
I've just tried to use it again to print off a prepaid postage label for a small packet. The Label printed out with a huge "SAMPLE" across it and the words "'Sample' will not appear when printed". I tried to print again but you can't! Tried to ring customer services, closed.
After reading the posts above, I tried again using IE8 instead of Chrome, worked; ended up paying twice again!
Complete load of rubbish, worst website I have ever used in my life! Not sure if I can bring myself to ring them (0870 240 9085) tomorrow morning to waste another hour of my life trying to get a refund.
[Rant Off]
I'm off for a nice relaxing cup of tea now.0
