Barclaycard Increase ?

Options
I have a Lloyds TSB Duo Amex limit £2600 and a Barclaycard Initial limit £400, both these are paid off in full each month by Direct Debit, I use my Barclaycard to get the freedom rewards and I find the limit of £400 a bit tight. I want to increase the limit and went on to the screen to do this on Barclaycard but chickened out as I don't know if 4 months is too soon too apply for a increase. I also don't want to be greedy, so my questions are:

Is 4 months too soon to increase the limit.

And if I currently have a £400 limit what would a suggested limit to increase it too be as I don't want to go to high a risk a decline.

Many Thanks.

  • I think you have to wait 6 months before requesting an increase, thats what I did when I got my initial card last year, but got declined so never bothered requesting again:(

However I had a letter recently saying that I have had a cr limit increase, without even requesting one:D this was after holding the card for about 12 months;)
