I work with a lovely lass (have to say that, she might read this!) whose Birthday is on 25th. She expressed annoyance that it's difficult for her to go out on her birthday as everywhere is closed!

  • I would hate it! My son was due Dec 25th and I spent alot of time worrying about his birthday being then or christmas day, or even boxing day! Thankfully he came mid-December!

My mums bday is Christmas Day ~ it doesn't bother her in the slightest as she gets to put her feet up all day and let everyone else do the running around!

Mine is today, hubbys is tomorrow and my daughters is New Years Day, so as you can imagine this time of year is very expensive!

I enjoy cooking on Christmas Day and giving others their presents. So I sort of miss out on the putting feet up and having a pampering day.
  • My friends daugther was born on xmas day and always celebrates her birthday 25th Jan.

My friend's daughter's birthday is Christmas day and they always do Christmas in the morning and her birthday in the afternoon - if you know what I mean. She also does a Half Year Birthday where she takes her daughter out for the day or has a party or whatever, although she doesn't get extra presents on her half birthday! :p

    Happy Birthday Shellsuit!
