Yahoo! Mail have merged all my contacts

Yahoo! Mail have made so many changes over the past two years, and mainly for the worse. Anyone who is a frequent Yahoo! Mail user and especially anyone who has had to contact 'support' will know how bad their service is.
But this is the final straw.
Has anyone else had all their carefully filed email addresses merged into one mass of unfiled contacts? I have spent MONTHS trying to get this resolved and to no avail. I would love to hear from anyone else who has had this, or any other dilemma, happen to them at the hands of Yahoo's 'technical' team.

It is free and that's why they consider themselves unaccountable and don't seem to care about what they do to people's data or information. However, what is free for us is priceless to them, because daily users of Yahoo Mail give them the clicks they need for advertisers to treat them as a viable option, and that enables them to thrive.0
