Sandisk SD card for DSLR, does 'class' matter?

Hi, I have just received what I thought would be a Class 10 Extreme SD card for a DSLR.

The card I have received says class 6 on it. It's obviously too late to order another on-line. Should it make any difference?

The only difference is the speed it writes to the card so unless you are looking to photograph fast moving objects and taking multi shots it should make no difference at all.
I use class 2 to class 6 for my camera and have not found any problem in over 10 years of taking pictures :0)

Class 6 will be fine for most users - it's the minimum suggested class for recording 44Mbps video on a Canon SLR without buffering, so it'll do most SLR jobs just fine.

But if you bought a Class 10 card, and were sent a Class 6, you're owed a different card.
