    hi, any views????

    thanks in advance
  • Can't comment on second (roofing) quote, but this summer I had pretty much the same as you've specified in your first quote done regarding soffits, fascias, guttering etc. I live in a 2 bed detached. I paid £2250, and this was the best of 3 quotes, so £2550 for a 4 bed detached sounds quite reasonable to me. I live in South Cheshire.

Not to bad of a price, sheet lead approx £100, sand and cement, replacement of any broken tiles/slates, scaffold??
Make sure they bend the lead at the edges, to stop capillary travel of water.

Hi Fraser yes quote seems average, try and get them to use the new style over fascia ventilators instaed of a vented soffit. Vented soffits get very dirty in years to come and need cleaning. ;)
