Half Price Perfumes - A load of rubbish!!

Ordered 1 x CK One 200ml Boxed Tester and 1 x FCUK Connect 50ml EDT from Half Price Perfumes

and today received

2 x CK One 100ml Unboxed and 0 x FCUK Connect 50ml EDT

i had a hastily scrawlled handwritten note on the invoice, saying

'sorry (ckone) sold out, we sent you 2 x 100ml instead'. Ok not a problem as such had it been not for the fact that they are smashed to pieces as unboxed and packaged in just one layer of bubble wrap and then in a plastic mailing bag.

As for the FCUk Connect again another hastily scrawlled note saying 'couldnt get this back in - refunded'. A pain as it was for a xmas pressie and its left it v late to go out and get a different one as working all week, but at least they have refunded. WRONG! logged into paypal and no refund has been received at all.

I have now opened up a claim with paypal for the full amount, but it is just so frustrating that they could of called or emailed to say this stuff is out of stock and we will be sending nothing instead!!

Wont be using them again.

    UPDATE

    After emailing the pictures of the smashed bottles to halfpriceperfumes they have refunded me back the full amount through paypal so the laim is closed.

    I have to say this is very quick and I am impressed with the after sales service. Just a shame they couldnt of sent the right products in new condition.

    I'm just checking to see if others had same experience as me with Halfpriceperfumes - I ordered a bottle of perfume from them earlier in Dec, money taken straight away from my Credit Card but by the 23rd Dec nothing had arrived - I emailed them and, to be fair, got a reply within 24hrs but only to say there was a problem with the processing however I would get a full refund and an email explaining what went wrong.

    Well I did get the refund so that's a relief but I was and remain disappointed at not receiving the item due to an apparent problem at their end of which I still hvnt rcvd a explanation for?

    However, my concerns do go further than this so I'm just wondering how many others have had problems, similar or otherwise through this company in the recent past?

    I'v had a really bad experience using this company and would not use them again!
    I ordered some perfume from them in sept and 5 weeks later i realised i had still not received it. I checked all my emails and found no notification from them and payment had left my account at time of purchase. I emailed and 3 days later had a reply simply stating item out of stock and would be sent when came back in stock. Sorry for the delay was added as a final line in the email but didn't really seem to be an apology. Was a bit angry that they couldn't be bothered to email this info to me earlier seeing as they already had my money sitting in their account all this time. I waited 2 more weeks with no further emails received and no perfume so i finally decided to cancel my order. Again i had to wait a couple of days for a reply and then a further 2 days for payment to be credited back to my account. Personally i feel this is bad customer service, i didn't expect much from a cheap perfume company but a bit of correspondence would have been nice!

    Sounds pretty much like my experience - what slightly niggles me too is that the item I ordered and paid for was seemingly still available only they had put price up on their website.
    Presumably angeluk2, you hvnt had any problems with your card since the original transactions?
