How long before credit report update?

Hey, Merry Christmas!
I cancelled my credit card last week. How long is it typically before it shows up on your credit report and cancelled?

    Within 3 months.
There are two timescales. Firstly the lender has to close the account internally.
The second timescale is up to a month to update the credit reference agencies.
Sometimes this is done in a monthly batch, so it can take up to a month.
Could be a lot much quicker, just depends on their internal procedures and when they update the CRAs.

One to two months should do it nicely.

My closed Crap 1 showed up as closed in August and I cancelled it in June.

probably know this but you need to make sure that you overpaid when you closed cancelled your card. I was paid my balance only to discover the interest was still added for the 3 days it took the payments to clear and had a balance of £8 so i paid £10 enough to over pay and cover it. I then had to apply to get that £2 over payment back. I left it as being -£2 on my credit file for months as it would mean a string of 0's on my credit file.
