Considering updating my aged Dell desktop (about 5 years old think it's a pentium 4) which I've tried to "speed up" but I still find quite frustrating.
Looking at this http://www.dinopc.co.uk/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=959&idcategory=95 which seems to tick most of the boxes.
I'm not a gamer but I do do some video editing (home stuff captured from an HD camcorder). Other than that it's just for some basic internet, itunes etc.
Any opinions on any bits I should look to customise/upgrade. Don't want to push the budget much beyond £300 if I can help it?
All comments gratefully accepted

I'd want more than 2GB of RAM, preferably 3 or even 4GB.0

Wait until December 27th (maybe 29th) Google and order before VAT rise :-)0

to be honest its a pretty decent basic spec, with the fact you will be doing some video editing i would also say the upgrade to 4gb for RAM would be a worth while investment, other than that i would say the system specified is acceptable
the only other thing i would be tempted with would be changing the PSU - this being said the options on that system for the PSU are somewhat limited, its just that i really do not like generic PSU's as if a PSU blows it can be very expensive - although it would be worth while checking what the 3 year warrenty covers since price is a factor for you and if it (and all other parts that die if it goes) is covered for 3 years its much less of a worryDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0
