hello there. i'm wanting my housemates to forward post to me in thailand whilst am on my holidays. Can anyone suggest the cheapest/quickest/fastest options to ensure my post arrives fast and unopened but not at fed ex rates! Also how long this option would take to arrive in thailand ;o)
thanks in advance - hj x

I've no idea on this but will watch with interest...
Everything I've sent to family in Thailand over the past 8 years either hasn't made it or has got there, but opened and generally with items missing. However, the town post office where my Dad is is notorious for 'losing' mail. I've sent some things this year through our work courier, fingers crossed, should take 3 days but not heard anything yet!!
Are you waiting for something important? Do you have a housemate you could trust to open and scan/email copies to you?Really should be doing some work...0 -

Similar experiences.
Very unreliable and I suspect that anything arriving from the west is vulnerable to pilfering as many from Europe send money/gifts over to 'special friends' who they have had 'previous encounters' with and such packages must be tempting to low paid workers in other countries.0 -
Depending upon the nature of the mail it may be best for your housemate to open ( with your permission) your mail, scan it and forward by email. At least you could be sure of receiving it. Otherwise it will be fedex/ups etc documents service with the related expenditure.0
