Club la costa confusion!

Hi

I have had a look at previous threads as I was contacted by this company saying I had been awarded a holiday for 4 people cost £29+airport taxes.
I have been invited to the 2 hr presentation where I will be given some vouchers....
Not bad for 2 hours work as they can try all they want I have no spare cash to sign up for the timeshare deal!
I am however confused as previous threads show that people have been asked to call a free phone number, I was only asked to call 01268 498 330 and the details they gave in their email e.g company reg matches that on companies house.
I have read mixed reviews online about and am not sure whether to risk going or not I am not sure if this is part of the previous scam or just a sales presentation to try and entice.......

My OH parents are members of CLC and really love it.

I have been on a few holidays with them (paid for by their points) and it was nice, but I think it is very expensive unless you are able to take unlimited holidays (i.e. are retired) as the annual cost for 'maintenance' is about £1500 a year which is an ongoing cost!

I know people who have been on 'marketing weeks' with CLC and what you get is a cheap holiday with a hard sell in the middle of it where they do try very hard to make you sign up.

If you are thick skinned and are prepared for a bit of a tussle during the sales pitch, and its the only way you can afford to get away, then it can be a very cheap holiday for you.

Maybe go to the 2 hr presentation and say you are not signing anything unless you see the standard of accomodation (i.e get a cheap holiday)

But be warned, the presentation will probably be A LOT longer than 2 hours!

    Good Luck!

You don't need any cash. They will arrange a nice loan for you.
