Hi
Is the title supposed to change from bold to non-bold once I've read it ?
Doesn't work for me in that some posts I have not read can appear as non-bold and also threads in forums that I've never ever been to have been displayed as a mixture of bold and non-bold ?
It's as if somebody else shares my login but that is impossible from this end...
Or have I got this completely wrong ?

I theory it should do what you suggest. But it's never worked very reliably.
I think the forum software uses cookies to track what threads you have read/have new posts etc. So anything that clears your cookies, even logging in or out a lot of the time, messes it all up.
So basically don't depend on that feature to tell you what you have read and what you haven't.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

same here/ might be dependent on different browsers too? cache/non-cache/ cookies related issue? but yes, never been wholly reliable on all vbulletin forums.BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON? OR THE MORNING? OH, FORGET THIS MALARKEY!

I think there will be a time out
so after X time then all posts before that time will be marked as read(non bold)0 -
This feature has always worked very reliably for me (Firefox browser) but, for about the last 2 weeks, has failed completely.
Clearly a software problem which MSE needs to investigate.Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").0 -

Oddly enough, it's worked better the last few weeks/days for me?

It's never worked for me on here, but works perfectly on another vBulletin forum I use.
I also use firefox.0
