Advice on Dimplex opti-myst fires

I'm in the process of having a small extension built to make my lounge a little larger and as part of the project I shall be constructing a false chimney breast with a recessed TV and home cinema speakers.
Lower down this chimney breast I want to install a fire of some description to provide the focal point my lounge has lacked until now, but am limited because we have no flue or gas supply.
My first idea was to install a flueless lpg fire but I am now going off this idea because it seems that practically all of them have to be wall-hung rather than recessed which, in this situation, would look odd as well as create issues with rising heat.
I have now stumbled across what seems an ideal solution but wondered if anyone has any experience of them. I've been looking at the range of opti-myst fires from Dimplex, in particular the Albany one which is built-in. I believe they use ultrasonics, lighting and water to create a realistic flame effect.
The video on the Dimplex page certainly makes it look impressive and I'd be very interested in anyone else's experiences of them.
