What bank account activity gets reported to CRAs

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but I wondered what actual bank account activity gets reported to CRAs? Last time I got credit, got in trouble and waited the 6 years bank accounts weren't reported. Due to the above I've managed to get a Key Account with RBS which I have seen on my online report although not much to say as yet as my salary is not due to go in it until later this week. As it is a basic account with no overdraft etc what can they report apart from regular payments in and out? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

I have a basic Lloyds TSB Account, and on my credit report it shows as a Lloyds TSB Current Account and has just green o's every month, same with my Natwest current account, that shows as green o's and the balance as 0 (I have a an overdraft on that account, but dont use it). My Halifax account isnt listed yet as I only opened it a few weeks ago, but theres no overdraft on that either so I guess it'll be the same as the other 2. The balances arent reported unless you use any overdraft attached to the account. If its run OK, no unathorised OD, bounced payments it will just show as green marks on your reports

My A&L account is not kept updated on credit file at all any more... the initial credit check is listed.... there are green blobs for the first 6 months, then other than that it's not updated (i've had the account about 5 yrs).

*Still trying to cancel that account by the way - they don't want to listen to me!!!!*

As for my new FD account, that shows the credit check, the ID check they did, and three green blobs so far - i opened the account at the end of August, so I guess they are a month or so behind

I have an OD on both accounts, but I (try to) stay within my limit.

Hi both

Yes, I understand that the balances don't show now which I wasn't sure about before.
Therefore with no overdraft it should just be green Os but no further detail with regard to activity etc?

Theres nothing else on mine, just the greens. My credit cards however, are much more detailed

With my credit cards it obviously shows the current statement balance and it also shows my current credit limit, but it also shows if Ive had a credit limit increase and if Ive taken any cash advances (and the cash advance amount).
