How to open a broken washing machine door

Anyone know how I can open a washing machine door.
The handle on the door has gone all loose and won't open (was ok till now)and I'm not able to get anyone out till next week to fix it.
I have a load of washing inside that's goiing to get awfully smelly if I don't get it out.
It's an Indesit front loader by the way.

take it outside and let all the water out.
then tip the machine onto its side and access the door lock from underneath.
with a long screwdriver or rod, you should be able to release the door catch.Get some gorm.0
