Ebay is the one with a large customer base, and relatively low fees.
Are your fees really so expensive? Can we help with the way you're listing? My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

i am really thankful for offering me help.I have yet to pay £130 ebay fees for just 1month..my items dont really do well if i put them on buy it now.Similarly if i raise the starting bidding price...people don't place bid at that either.I normally start with 99p ...sometimes it goes above my sale price but sometimes i have to sell at less than my sale price.i had to sell elmos at even £27.so should i use the reserve price?what are its charges for items with £50 reserve.i normally sell toys/sat.nav./clothes etc all items ranging from £3 to £300.
i will be really greatful for your help!0 -
Have coma cross these, but no idea how good/bad etc.
Did a search and not many elmo's listed so might be worth an experiment ??

Couple of possibilities...
Market is flooded with Elmos?
Maybe the BIN price you've been trying is a touch too high? Don't forget that you pay extra for having a BIN (obviously if you're doing BIN-only you know this)
Are you spending on extras like subtitle or gallery?
There's no point using the £50 minimum reserve if they sell for less than that... what should they be selling at? reserves tend to put people off.My TV is broken!

See if your area has a local classified site, go to gumtree.com or something similiar. It should be free to list. Also, check out your local Ad-Mag or free ads paper.
you are selling elmos, so there is no need on Ebay for a picture in the search listing. People will click on your listing regardless. Prob is that everyone has the same idea as you. long gone are the days when people paid £200 for a Buzz Lightyear. You may sell at £40 or £50 but is it worth the hassle?
Instead of holding parents to ransom at Christmas, why not cut your losses and give the Elmos to a local kids charity who will send them to disadvantaged kids. That one Elmo could save a kid from a life of hell, and give them something to live for in life. You will feel a million dollars (but won't get to spend it!)0 -

I would probably add that if its not selling on eBay for the price you would like then its very unlikely to sell on alternative site either, eBid and Tazbar included.
Yes the latter two have much lower fees but that is irrelevant if the items dont attract customers and achieve bids. Ive had sales on both of the latter two sites but probably in the ratio of 1 to 500 compared to eBay sales.
Have you looked at the prices on Amazon Marketplace? Might be worth investigating.0 -

Would steer clear of eBid... Brought electrical stuff and it never turned up, then whole management structure behind the site would not help i n tracking the culprit. Over 140 people got caught with this scam and nothing was ever sorted... i lost over 1500.000
