Is it cheaper to buy an Oyster Annual before the fare increase

So as we all know, Oyster prices will be rising in Jan.
My question is, if I bought an annual Oyster at the end of December, will I still be charged a 2010 fare? Or have TfL worked a sneaky way of avoiding this and I won't save much?

Have you checked the prices for 2011? Have you gone in and asked them?0

I dont use an Oyster card but I suspect you are talking about putting an annual travel card onto your Oyster card. The price you pay for an annual rail season ticket or annual travel card is based on when you buy it.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

I work for London Buses.
I'm not sure of the answer but i know that all fare increases on the busses at least will take effect from 02:59am on the 2nd January 2011If Adam and Eve were created first
.Does that mean we are all inbred0 -
Underground stations have notices in them advising that tickets bought to begin on or after 2 January will be charged at new rate - that's the jist of it anyway, I've only glanced briefly at the notice (top of escalators).0
