Barclays Home Insurance renewal

Got a renewal quote for £157 - the lowest they will go on the phone is £149
On comparison sites the cheapest quote from all companies is also Barclays at £93. It says 'for new customers only'
can I just cancel the old policy's renewal (haven't agreed to it yet) and just sign up for the policy I saw on the web or will they object?

Most companies have a get out clause on that one: like the AA and RAC every year, you have to have NOT been a customer for at least 3 months.
That policy sounds cheap though: is it H & C?
I got a good quote from the AA yesterday at £174, much better than the EAs best offer of over £320!!Unless specifically stated all posts by me are my own considered opinion.
