Our family adults 46-55 are visiting Blackpool from Christmas eve til Boxing Day. I'm not having much luck in finding things to do. Does anyone have any ideas on what is open/things to do? We ideally would like to go to a show/caberat but can't find any details on whats on. Will there be clubs/pubs open with live entertainment? Is it possible to go into hotels for a drink and entertainment? Also would like to go to a carol service not too early on Christmas day/eve, does anyone have details of any?
Thanks for any info.

Wouldnt expect a great deal to be going on outside the hotels to be honest, looks like the sands venue is either full or not doing anything after the 23rd. Where your staying will have a big impact also?
Just a rough area would be good, or hotel name if its one of the big ones perhaps? South, Central, North? Obviously you wouldnt want massive taxi bills.0 -
The Sands has a Swing Orchestra on the 24th, it's a bit pricey at £39.99 but includes food as well. I would think you definitely have to buy tickets in advance.

Funny Girls is fine for a bit of a laugh, and not pricey to get in (think its about £7). If there are any free it would be wise to give them a ring and book a booth.

St John's in the town centre has a Christingle service on Christmas Eve and of course will have a service on Christmas day.

The Alabama Showboat usually put on a good show. Again it would be wise to ring them first. They usually do dinner & show offers.

There are a few pubs on Topping Street where you will find Karaoke and a singsong going on.
Hope this helps.0 -
