PPI reclaiming - Bradford & Bingley?

Hello - can anyone help me please?
I'm pretty sure I was missold PPI when I took my mortgage out in 2003 with Bradford and Bingley. I have the letters from them which basically give me no choice whether to take the policy or not.
However, as they don't exist any more, how would I even go about contacting them?
Has anyone else had any experience claiming back from Bradford and Bingley? Have searched the web for a possible contact but only found dodgy looking sites who would take a fee.
Thanks in advance and sorry if the topic is already covered - I'm new!:o
Thanks, Ilaria

Hi and welcome

You would need to complain to Santander now.
Why do you think it was mis-sold? I believe B&B's mortgage ppi was monthly paid. Whats wrong with that?0 -

If you have documentary proof that you were forced to have it then its an easy complaint to have (unless its a mortgage going back to the 90s and early 2000s when lenders were allowed to insist on insurances to be taken to get a certain deal).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Read the post on claiming PPI from Bradford and Bingley and it appears to suggest that anyone with an older mortgage can not claim for missold PPI is that correct? Is there a date before which PPI claims will not be considered. My 20 year Mortgage with Bradford and Bingley ended in 2009 and I paid PPI from day 1 so can I not claim? Are there any guidelines anywhere about this?0
