EUROPEAN TRANSFER-any advice welcome please!
Hi All,
I am an ex-pat in Belgium and have recently processed a european transfer from my belgium bank to the UK for 1000 euros which has left my account in Mid Nov and still hasnt been paid to the beneficiary. I am aware my bank needs to conduct a BACS transfer but they state it is not their responsibility, the beneficiary has confirmed the bank have processed the correct details on the transfer with the relevant sort code but the payment has not arrived in the UK and they cannot investigate any further as they are the receipent.
I am receiving no support or communication from the Belgium bank, merely that they I can be put on a waiting list for the sum of 60 euros and wait for a minimum of 6 weeks before they will launch an investigation into this issue!
This is the second time this has occured with different receivers therefore if any one has any advice to assist I would very much appreciate it.

Did you quote IBAN and BIC numbers and did payment go through SEPA ?0

yes quoted correct IBAN and swift code including credit card no for reference and payment went through SEPA0

Then it should have taken a maximum of 3 working days to go through.
You need to forcibly complain to the sending bank to trace the funds - bull$$it to 6 weeks.0
