Glad all is going well with the move and the new job. Nothing seems to stress you ever :AYou know that my new mantra is 'That doesn't suit me' right? And I mean that in the 'I dont want to' rather than the fashion sense!!!!
What a fabulous way of saying "No". I must remember that!

Loving the It doesnt suit me. Will pinch that one. I too have joined a gym. I am spreading a little but I feel completely miserable and I know that exercise will perk me up. As for where you work, hmmmm that could be a tricky one. Thought you might visit the village whilst in Manchester. I love it there. Hope that things soon settle for you and that London is fab. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Hi all,
Back up the road last night. Had a fab weekend and really enjoyed my time in London. I did have to wear a fleece at one point though  as I was working in a different sort of place and it was outside and cold. I expressed my upset about it though as it REALLY 'doesn't suit me' :rotfl:
Money wise I have a whole £8.92 in the bank and under £20 in my purse to last til payday on Wednesday. Mum is in the process of popping another £100 in my account (I asked for £50) but it's not gone in yet and I'll be okay without it probably.
Mum also put £21 in M and S vouchers in a card for me this week so I've spent £16 of this today on nice wine and nibbly bits.
I was taken out for dinner by a friend last night and to lunch by another one today. :j Ace to see them and good to get a bit of social stuff going here.
I have just done a proper Xmas list and budget for next month. I have left out all the variable extra cash that I'm due so this will be extra to the budget. Without this and after paying Mum this last wee bit back I will have £400 left for spends after all bills are out and Xmas pressies are bought AND my £600 flight to Goa is paid if I've done my sums right :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:This is due to me getting a big pay and also having a lot less rent to pay.
The extras will then be potentially £43 expenses so far, £210 housing benefit and £275 deposit. I dont think I'll get all my deposit back though as my old flat did need a lick of paint and there was a tiny bit of wear and tear...oh and the landlord was horrid! Even a couple of hundred back here would be great.
I still have £7 in my handbag which is for kindle books. I just need to pay it into the bank at some point.
The upside of not knowing what my rota is like one week to the next and that we'll be mental busy before Xmas SHOULD be that I dont go out partying and spend as much money as I do normally at this time of year.
Loved London so much that I am planning a few visits there next year to see a friend and do some shows and Soho!
I am speaking to my friend tomorrow about staying in this flat as a sitting tenant when she sells it to a family memeber. The rent will go up but it'll all be okay and still less than I paid before.
Having a night in with nibbly bits, red vino and Strictly/X Factor tonight. Looking forward to it.

Sounds like you have everything under control as usual. Couldn't help smiling at the fleece image..... as I sit in a fleece top

Had a nice night in and loads of work bits going on.
Got Mums £100 so Im okay til payday.
Had a trip to LIDL today. Twas bargaintastic!'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
I've been paid :j:j:j However it wasn't as much as I thought as I was taxed a bit more. This means that this month MAY be a bit tight. On the other hand it MAY be quite abundant depending on what comes back in when from various bodies. I don't know when I'll get this or how much as I may lose bits from my deposit and some of it may come next month SO I'm going to act as if I dont have it and therefore it's all a bit tight.
Before you get your violins out, I need to confess to booking a lovley holiday to Goa for February :j:j:j I will be joining my lovely GBF and his boyf for this. The flight was £629 . I also gave Mum back £300 and put £180 in my Xmas fund. Oh and joined a gym
This leaves me £50 a week for spends and £60 a month for groceries. By a bit of jiggery pokery I have managed to get me an extra £20 for this weeks spends so I have a good bit for the weekend. I'm out tomorrow night with yet another gay gentleman  and hopefully my two other friends from Glasgow I wll be through and there will be wine and Chinese. Actually even if they stay at home I'm still doing that on Saturday as next week I go into my new shop proper and I expect to be very busy.
As things are going to be a bit tighter than normal (not awful and Iwont starve butI need to keep an eye on it) so I plan to keep a spending diary.
I can't promise it will be wildly exciting :rotfl:but it has to be done.
Todays spends were £3.20 on a bus ticket for all my travellings. I also spent £37.29 on food from my grocery budget. The A*da man was much better at lugging loads of tine up my stairs than I'll ever be. I made a huge batch of lentil soup today and between that and a few tins I should have most lunches for the month at work.
I'm boring myself now...so it's time for bed.
I have an 8am gym induction tomorrow  and then Im working from home [STRIKE]watching carp daytime telly and doing my nails [/STRIKE] until my night out. X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Morning all,
Spends today £0.49 on a bottle of water for the gym (which i will reuse)
£1.30 on freezer bags. My wee freezer is bursting.
Right, time for lunch and hanging washing and then on with the rotas. X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Eww, a wee freezer. I've heard of a beer fridge, but a wee freezer??? :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
