Hope that you are enjoying Manchester this week. I reckon it will be right up your street! Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0

Hi all,
Move went okay. My friend moved me and Flyin Fresian helped greatly by picking my keys up in Edinburgh while we were still in Glasgow.
It was very scruffy when I moved in but I have gutted it and added lots of homely touches so Im pleased with it.
Got internet and landline sorted today :j so in touch again.
Had to leave the place on Monday for a week in Manchester which was ace. I did make a trip to the Village . Love it!
Mum has been :A and has helped me out loads moneywise as I am owed council tax, some rent, my deposit and housing benefit, as well as expenses and wont get a pay til the end of the month. You know that my new mantra is 'That doesn't suit me' right? And I mean that in the 'I dont want to' rather than the fashion sense!!!! Mum called me at 9am last Sat and told me to go and buy stuff for the flat and that 'It didn't suit her' to get the cash back!!! I need to borrow another £200 to get me to the end of the month but I have insisted that this be a borrow so thats fine.
Enjoying training and especially York and Manchester. London next week and hopefully thats it.
Ladies, I can FEEL the weight going on :eek:round my tum so Im looking at Virgin Active gym here. It's not cheap but is on the way to work and has a pool! I really want to keep at the excercise but it just hasn't been possible with all the travel and wonky hours. Also those of you who know what the new job entails will know that this isn't helping.
In the midst of all my boxes and travelling I have made some social plans for the weekend. Am out with Flyin Fresian for lunch tomorrow then have afternoon drinks planned with a friend of a friend.
Sunday may be spent chilling ready for an early flight.
Payday is on the 30th but I'll be okay til then thanks to the bank of mum/any of the other sorts that owe me actually paying me. I'm owed about £500 from various folk so it will be great when I get that back plus a week and a months wage :j:j:j
Dribs and drabs wise I have £7 in the piggy. I have decided to use pig money for Kindle books. It's been a godsend while I've been travelling about!
Just going to watch a wee bit more of Children in Need then it's off to bed for me X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Glad the move went well, saw some of F_F's updates on FB.
Your mum is a star! 'It doesn't suit her' to have the money back indeed! At least you know its a temporary cash flow 'blip'
I'm working the opposite way round, I've been in 'that London' all week, and next week am back in Glasgow and then I've got combinations of Glasgow and Falkirk.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
