Thanks and welcome 40SM.
Well I LOVED Manchester and Pride. It was amazing!!! Much disco dancing and fun was had in the evenings and yesterday we went to the Lowri to see the Andy Warhol Diva exhibition. :j:j:jBrillaint to see the pictures in the flesh. After this we went to Michael Caines at Abode for a tasting lunch. Was very :money:though as it was only £10 a head for 3 little courses but felt very glam and was a real treat. Couldn't have done it without the deal as the average main was £25  but with the deal it was fab.
Had a horrid noisy train journey with the family from hell but we enjoyed a nice bottle of red on it
Got news about a further interview for one of my jobs today. :j Its at the end of next week. My friend wants me to rent her flat from her through there on a rolling month basis as she wants to sell ideally but cant at the mo. She will offer me it on this basis for £300 less than I pay here for my rent and CT :j Such a good deal and it will be a great start/let me save for another holiday:j! Just need to get a job now :rotfl:
Had a grim day at work today, first day back after hols and a bit stressful to say the least. Anyway stocktaking tomorrow so not in work til 2.30. Payday tomorrow, yippee and not saving this month as I need some new winter gear. Il look forward to shopping for this for sure.
Watching BB with a cider for now. Ive put 4lb back on so need to get gyming it X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
wow on the flat front, that sounds like a storming deal! good luck with the job interview! :j
I lived in Manchester for 5 years, met and married my ex hubby in Manchester Town Hall while we lived up there - in fact we moved our wedding from the August bank holiday weekend to the weekend after because of all the Pride excitement - although it would have made for very colourful photos in the square
I LOVE the place. Shopping is fantastic and it's all doable in a day if you are determined
I did a treasure hunt round the city centre for my friend's hen do a couple of years back and we had a grand time.
Love the "get out of my way, I'm fabulous" line too - I have a coffee mat with that on my desk at work
Boooo to stocktaking.... part of my job is co-ordinating the stocktaking team at my place and I know it's not nice for anyone! Hope work settles down soon for you x0 -
Great news on the interview and what a brilliant deal on the flat - fingers crossed!
Glad you enjoyed Pride.. have great memories of some bunny boys there one year

Well done on the job news and of course the flat deal. Maybe she wants your tidiness and style for showing it off to potential buyers!!0
