Only last week I recieved my very first Echeque, very annoying, searched the forums and heard that you can block it, which i immediately did.
Clicked on the "Block Payments from users who:Pay with eCheck for website and Smart Logo payments, or German bank transfer for all website payments except eBay".
I though i was done with Echeque. well guess what, I just received another one!
is there anything i can do to really block them?

Ebay don't like you blocking them, so it might not be easy
My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Why do you want to block them? Possibly one less buyer and an e-cheque appears to be a random phenomenon anyway. Only downside is the time it takes to clear which is a pain.0

I blocked them 6 months back....not a single one since.
Are you sure the payment wasnt made direct to your email address as they would not be blocked because it hadnt come via the eBay checkout procedure. Ive had some buyers email me to say 'Im having trouble sending the money via Paypal to you can you let me have your email address' and invariably this means they are trying to use eCheque.
I block them because of the length of time they take and the fact that they can be cancelled during clearance. My terms all say payment within 5 days so this is how I cover the eCheques as they take around 10 days. If someone contacts me after purchase and says they are having problems with Paypal because it wont take an eCheque then I ask for a cheque instead or bank transfer. No Paypal fees on these and they are both quicker for me and the buyer than an eCheque!0
