Hello
I ordered the Gleek boxset, with Gleek Journal from Sainsburys entertainment on the 5th December, it was the cheapest I could find it at £23.99 and it stated delivery within 13 days, plenty of time I thought. It was for sale at Asda for £29.99 at this time, but I thought a £6 saving was worth ordering from Sainsburys.
2 days ago after me emailing them as I was worried it wouldn't be here for Xmas and they replied to say they were awaiting stock but they would send it as soon as it was in stock but they couldn't guarantee it would be here before xmas, which was fine as checking everywhere else the cheapest I could find it elsewhere was now £39.99 for the journal version and £27.93 for the version without it, so I thought giving it to my son a couple of weeks late wouldn't be too much of a problem as he is 7 and doesn't know for definite he is getting it.
Just had another email saying they have cancelled my order as the item has been deleted by the supplier..., why did they advertise them if they didn't know if they could get stocks? it ended by saying they hoped to have me as a future customer, ummm nope!!
So now I am a present down and have to pay an extra £13 if I want to buy it elsewhere, if they even have it in stock...
anyone else had problems with Sainsburys??
