How are Royal Mail coping with deliveries in the West Lothian area?

Does anyone have an idea of how bad the delays and backlogs are in the West Lothian area. I've got a buyer who's parcel was sent nearly two weeks ago by standard parcels, and is asking where it is? :cool:
We're in Lancashire, so I've no idea what it's like up there apart from what I've read and heard on the net.

should be moving pretty well now but there will be backlogs just like every other DO

Im in West lothian and although some post is getting through I have just had parcels turn up ordered over 3 weeks ago. I think it's pretty wide spread and sometimes depends on where the parcel is coming from.

im in west lothian as well and i think i was deliverd the last of my parcels which i ordered on the 30th Nov - im sayin i think i was as i came home to the cards left by RM

My bf was telling me today that there are trucks up at the depo full of the backlogged mail. We're waiting on stuff posted about 3 weeks ago and doesn't look like it'll make it in time for Xmas
