COMBI boiler heating confusion - HELP!

Thanks. I adjusted by boiler radiator thermostat to 68 C last night and left the room thermostat at 17.5C The house warmed up much more quickly. I timed the heating to come on for 45 mins in the middle of the night and then on again for get-up time at 5am and it was lovely and toasty in the bedrooms. So, looks as if I've found the solution. If 15 mins is all that's required to prevent freezing I'll reduce the blast times though as it's not really warmth I'm worried about at these times. The house was only newly renovated last year so all my radiators are new and they work fine.0

TBH most combi's have a minimum safety temp setting to prevent internal pipes from freezing so I wouldn't worry too much about that. The only thing that tends to freeze is the external condensate pipe, if you have one and that can easily be rectified.0

I have a combi and temperature valves on my radiators but no temperature thermostat, do you think i should get one fitted?
My house heats up quite quickly but I am trying to keep my bills down0 -
Yes a thermstat will save you money and will also make the house more comfortable, how much are your bills now?0
