Help needed in deciding on what photos to have taken...

Reportage style is getting so popular these days - I love the idea of those informal shots without people posed. Wish all mine were unposed but don't suppose I can get away with that! We've got several ideas for settings for ours...the zoo has some gorgeous areas with a chinese style garden, a roman walled garden, another sunken garden with an ornamental fountain in a small lake. I would also love to get some animal ones and the wedding venue itself is just opposite the lions so I'm hoping they might put in an appearance. My OH wants to have some done inside the tropical realm house but that means trekking over the other side of the zoo...it's ok for him as he won't be in a long dress and heels!0

I have told our photographer i would like a photo of our imediate family in the shape of a love heart and the photo taken at a height with everyone looking up but what else could i suggest to him? all suggestions and help gratefully appreciated
Thanks guys
This is really cute but is there somewhere high for the photographer to stand?
I am a photographer and I always look for a high vantage point for stuff like this but some it's not possible at some venues. Some photographers take a step ladder but not all.It all works out good in the end.If it's not good, it's not the end!0 -
He will be taking a a ladder to lean against a tree and doing it that way, but he said to leave the idea with him (which he absolutely loved) and he will see what he can come up withkaren_newcastle wrote: »This is really cute but is there somewhere high for the photographer to stand?

Wow ellay864 i really like that sound of that so i really hope that you and your friend will be ok if i steal the idea??? Thank you so much
My friend has a stunning picture done from her wedding....he took a picture of her and her hubby arms round each other gazing into each others eyes just a little way to one side of a large old tree. He took another of her alone the other side of the tree looking over towards it. Then they were merged so it's like she's watching herself with hubby. Is a bit ghostly due to the lighting and the old house in the background but she has it as a piece of art, not just a wedding photo. It's a wonderful atmospheric picture and a real talking point
