does he not have a sample album for you to look through for ideas of what you would like?0 -
yeah he shown us 2 full albums from previous weddings but although they was stunningly gorgeous photos there was nothing `different` just the usual family friends grandparents cousins etc. I just want something different along with themdoes he not have a sample album for you to look through for ideas of what you would like?

something I was going to do but time and the weather ran away with us was to have a photo taken outside in the dark each holding a sparkler and drawing half a heart each together. I have seen a picture of this online and it looks really good. The sparkler lights up enough for you to be just about visible in the background. Guess that all depends on what time your photographer will be around until though.0

My stepdad is doing my pics. I bought him this book for christmas https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wedding-Photography-Posing-David-Pearce/dp/0956546307/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1292951718&sr=8-1 no pressure for him

Its arrived and its really interesting 251 pages. Its a fairly small book about a5 roughly in size. There are 2 pictures on most pages. It shows how to use the shapes around you, positioning, some really great pictures using the weather and time of day. I think its perfect for amateurs and also for couples to find some inspiration.
Alternatively go to google images and put in best wedding poses

My friend has a stunning picture done from her wedding....he took a picture of her and her hubby arms round each other gazing into each others eyes just a little way to one side of a large old tree. He took another of her alone the other side of the tree looking over towards it. Then they were merged so it's like she's watching herself with hubby. Is a bit ghostly due to the lighting and the old house in the background but she has it as a piece of art, not just a wedding photo. It's a wonderful atmospheric picture and a real talking point0

I am having the traditional family shots, a couple at specific parts of the venue (there is fab fireplace, and a stunning stained glass window on the staircase landing), and then the rest I want to be more casual. I look like a right div in posed pics, so like the more 'secret snapping' kind of style - thing it might be called reportage? Could be wrong though!! I would like some sort of funky ones as well, ones that are a bit different. My photographer takes some really lovely unusual pics so am up for that!0
