Sainsbury's Magazine Terms and Conditions


In addition to any specifically stated T&Cs, the following apply to all prize giveaways:

1. Competitions and prizes are open to readers of Sainsbury’s Magazine aged 18 and over and resident in the UK. Enployees of the Sainsbury’s Group of Companies, Seven Publishing Group Ltd, of which Seven Squared is a part, the promoting companies and their subsidiaries, their associates and relatives are not eligible to enter.

2. Competition winners will be chosen at random from all entries once the lines close/deadline for receipt of postal entries has expired. The winner will be notified by post within 14 days. Please state on your postcard if you do not wish to receive any direct mail from the promoting companies.

3. Prizes must be taken as offered, cannot be exchanged for a cash equivalent and are not transferable.

4. Correspondence will not be entered into: the judges’ decision is final
5. Only one entry allowed per person. No third-party entries will be accepted.

6. Competition winners must be available for publicity.

7. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, delayed, damaged or mislaid or damaged in the post. Proof of posting is not regarded as proof of delivery.

8. Entries that are illegible or not in accordance with these rules will be disqualified.

9. No purchase necessary.

10. If attempts to notify the winner are not successful after four weeks, the winner shall be deemed to have forfeited the prize and a new winner will be chosen and notified of the results of the competition.



Boston and New England Terms and Conditions


1. The competition is open to all citizens of the UK except employees of MS George Limited and their agents, Sainsburys Magazine or their families.

2. To be valid entries partner will receive return flights on Virgin Atlantic from London to Boston, a hire car and 2 nights on a room only basis at the Back Bay Hotel and 7 nights on a room only basis at The Shorways Acres Inn. 

3. The trip must be taken by 10th December 2011, and is subject to availability of flights and accommodation as purchased by the agent supplying the holiday on any particular date. 

4. Travel to UK airports or incidental expenses are not included.

5. At least one member of the travelling party must hold a full valid driving licence. 

6. There is no cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.

7. Prior to departure the winner must purchase comprehensive travel insurance either from the agent supplying the holiday or through their own source.

8. The judge's decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.

PS - after entry it says 'Thank you for entering our prize draw to win a holiday to Saint Lucia with Sainsbury's Magazine. Good Luck!', must just be left from previous comp.

Yes I go that too although the top of the confirmation page still stated the Boston prize

Yep and the survey URL relates to Boston too, so think it's just a case of somebody not updating the text.
