As my Norton subscription has just expired, I have decided to go with Trend Micro. Should I delete all files of Norton? Is one better than the other?

Norton is a nightmare to get rid of - usually the easiest way is a format & reload
Trend isn't to bad - I've heard very good reports about Panda antivirus.
I tend to use AVG as it's FREE0 -
As Skim says.. Get rid of it,, Use AVG, 10000% better and its FREE:beer: Keep your Chin up.. it can only get better
I'm one of those people who was born to have money,

Use the Norton Removal Tool - http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039
I use Trend Micro - excellent, never had a problem with it.0 -
One thing I would say is before you do anything make sure you back up everything you need - I've had the orton uninstall corrupt windows to the degree that it wouldn't boot on two occassions.
Luckily I'd used Ghost to make an exact copy of my drive before the uninstall.0 -
Try them both out before you make the purchace... also, Norton2007 is far better than previous versions, so dont eliminate that from your trials. Norton'07 is alright, havent tried Trend though.0
