I will be getting Sky TV before the end of November (fed up with NTL!) and was wondering if anyone has spotted any good offers about. I see Sky are currently offering 3 months at half price and Sky+ for the person recommending me, but I have also stumbled across an offer on CD-WOW. This offers 4 months at half price and a CD-WOW voucher for £35. Anybody seen anything to better this? 12 months half price anyone!?

I would ask yourself -do you really need it at all?
I have the telewest package ,broadband, phone and tv and im going to cancel the phone and tv because there is nothing i want to watch anymore that you cant get on freeview(im a big channel four fan)and i just dont watch that much tv anymore.
Im a footy fan and can watch live priemership footy on a saturday streamed from an chinese station if you know where to look .
There are great films on film four now nearly every day.
And there are sites where you can watch a lot of different tv shows like "lost" without even downloading them now.
I could go on...0 -

The NTL TV service is rubbish. Incredibly slow and laborious. I'm sick of staring at the Please Wait icon on the screen! I personally don't watch a lot of TV but there are 3 others in the household that do with varying tastes. The TV/Broadband/Phone deal from NTL for £30 was very good but for a better quality of service and more specific channels, we are prepared to pay £18 for TV, £11 BT line rental and £10 for Sky Maximum Broadband. We heavily use the internet and so a faster speed is also ideal. We are definitely going ahead with this, and are simply looking for the best deal on what we require.0
