Do registered disabled people get a discount to go on Eurostar? I want to go from London to Lille, then train to Montpellier to see my sister and I would prefer to go by train.

Why would you think that they would reduce prices for the disabled?
They are running a business, not a charity.
If you want to use Eurostar - it's quite simple - pay the same price as we all do.
If there are discounted fares then I would like to know who and how they are managed and authorised.
I own shares in that company (previously TML)!!0 -
Have you asked them?Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
50p saver #40 £20 banked
Virtual sealed pot #178 £80.250 -
No they don't.
I had to pay for a seat for a carer for my son to go out with us on the Eurostar, it would have been nice if I could have got that place for free or at a reduced rate - or even the upgrade so we did not have to be crammed in cattle, sorry standard class - especially as we have no choice in having that person travel with us. But we did have to pay the going rate for all of us and we travel in Leisure Select so he is not surrounded by too many people.
What is your disability? If you are in a wheelchair they do have wheelchair seating available so do give them a call, you cannot book this seating online.0 -
Although I don't think there are discounts available, assistance for disabled people is very good in London, Paris and Lille.0

the advice was to prepare a card with what you needed written in French, and show this to staff at stations, on the train etc. add your seat no etc.
personally I'd have several cards ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
It depends on the disability. I found the following information when I did a Yahoo search:
"Concessionary fares are available for a wheelchair user and companion. Concessions are also available for a person who accompanies a blind person, but not for the blind traveller in standard accommodation."
Hope this helps.0 -

Maybe a little late, but might help others. I recently went to disneyland on eurostar. If your disabled in a wheelchair its usually £69.00 and your aloud one carer at that price too. You also get help at both ends and a meal which was great! It doesn't mention this on there site but if you ring up they are so happy to help! was a great day trip! (also disneyland paris do free entry for wheelchair users and the rest of the family go at discounted rates too)0
