Thanks for this. Been wondering about trying ebuyer (read meixed reviews) and at 99p no worry of I lose out. Have an old 64mb card so this will make a cheap USB flash drive. When cycling, I pay the same road tax as any other zero carbon emission vehicle.0

Great price, i don`t need one but i`m sure it will come in thanks
Are you absolutely certain that's actually moneysaving?
I'm likely to buy several, but deep down I know I'm just buying them cos they're cheap, not because I'm saving money by getting them,..0 -
got mine yesterday was hoping it would read my nokia memory card, picked up a couple hoping to sell on really, either ebay or boot sale.0

Got mine a couple of days ago... mine says windows XP compliant on the box. Haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but seems good, and is Smart Media, which was exactly what we wanted.
Not bad for 99p each... so good I bought two.** Getting back in the swing of saving again.... **

Hello there I went to the web site via the link and found a Jenoptic card reader for £1.30 inc VAT. Is this the same card or am I looking in the wrong place?0

Got mine a couple of days ago and well pleased.
A couple of minor points, they are USB1.1 so 12mb/second transfer. Great for working with older USB standard PC's but, most stuff is now at the USB2.0 which is probably why they are shifting these cheap. USB 2.0 is backward compatible with 1.1 so its fine.
There are floods of these on Ebay now, typically offered at £3.99 plus post. the chances of finding enough smartmedia buyers for so many units is probably a bit slim for some time.

Looks like they've put the price up now. £1.10 + VAT - £1.30 ea.
Still great value tho.
