Repaired television

Does anyone know my rights in this senario;
I have a Samsung rear projection television that is 1 year out of its warranty ( TV is just 3 year old) that has developed numerous white spots all over the screen. I phoned Samsung in July to ask them if they are able to sort, and they initially told me that as it was out of warranty I hadn't a leg to stand on, but on pushing further with regards the number of people complaining about this same problem Samsung agreed they would repair free of charge. ( I believe its a known fault ) They authorised a local television repair company to fix the television, which they did.They replaced the whole of the televison engine. But 4 months later the same problem has occured again, but Samsung say they would only honour the first free repair. On questioning the repair they told me that the parts fitted are only guaranteed for 30 days !
Surely if I had paid for a television repair person to come out and sort the television myself and it broke again after 30 days I would have some kind of come back. I have contacted the repair company direct, but guess what they will not reply to me.
Hope someone can shed some light on this.:(
