my mates got something that makes your comp look like its running vista (see through pages, side bar, diff icons etc) does it kill your memory? ive only got 128 ram!

Not an expert on that sort of thing to be honest,its a pretty big download so i could well do.there are probably people on here who will know stuff about that.0

I use Style XP and a generic Vista style skin. you can get a trial but *ahem* if you know where to look you can get the full version
if you run it at its minimum it doesnt use much memory at all
Another option is Windowblinds again its a trial etc... but theres a brilliant Vista style theme called Novum OS for windowblinds. I found Windowblinds to use more memory than StyleXP so i ditched it.
For the themes either use google or trawl through Deviantart theres some brilliant visual styles & themes there

The best introduction to skinning is to download Styler:
Its free and will allow you to apply custom skins and toolbars. Deviant art is a really good site to download such stuff from.0 -
i downloaded windowblinds but it only skins half the stuff, you have to buy the full version to skin everything and it just looks carp half done..i dont want a massive download, how can i skin the scroll bars and everything for free?Fr. now you have windowblinds, search for a skin called vistaxp_wb or vistaxp v3 both by Kol.
