My poor flower beds

My front garden is covered in snow and postman/delivery people/kids have been walking across it instead of using the path, unaware that my flower bed is underneath. I wonder if my plants will survive :( I am sure this is a common problem.

  • Use bright orange cat litter to mark the path and hope that they take the hint?
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

  • I actually cleared the path, but they still cut across and walk all over the place. Time will tell what survived.

Your flower bed is better off under the snow than directly out in all the frost. Next year start planting a few shrubs to give it structure, especially where the 'pathway of desire' is being created.
