...I have successfully managed to set up my Epson SX110 to print via our BT Home Hub.

However, when I have tried using the scanner, I receive an error message stating thet "EPSON scan cannot be started. Please use the troubleshooting Assistant to solve the problem".

Unfortunately, I have looked through the assistant but cannot find a solution to the problem - has anyone else successfully set up their SX110 using BT Home Hub and got the scanner to work?

AFAIK, you cannot use the scanner over the network.

Thanks for confirming. I guess that given the little scanning we do, it won't hurt to change the printer cable around once in a blue moon!!

I came across a leaflet that was being handed out at my university about some website called 'gradparade' the other week.

Anyway I keep hearing people talking about it. It sais 'their launch date' is tommorrow. Its some type of freesoftware for students....Looks pretty cool. Atleast it could save us some money.
