Try hitting CTRL+R, then type "winword" (without the inverted commas) and hit enter.
If Word runs, you can create a new shortcut using the context (right-click) menu on the desktop and entering the path to Word as "winword.exe".
Hope that helps...0 -
if still having problems, the 'sounds' like you have simply deleted the desktop shortcuts not the actual program itself. So you just have to go into hard drive to find it and create another shortcut.
Sadly i dont have word on this computer so i cant check the installation location, try looking in my computer/hard drive/program files look in any microsoft folders.
To check if you have actually deleted it go to control panel/uninstall program. If you see ms word there then it has NOT been un-installed and you just have to find it.
OP post what windows version u r using, maybe someone here with word/excel can check its installation path. (just right click on the desktop shortcut and select open file location to see where on hard drive it is)0
