My own moral dilemma.........

C) - definitely! You wouldn't believe the times I have gone out of my way to return something etc. I went to a sports shop recently to get some badminton racquets and shuttlecocks for my OH, DS & I. I was walking around later thinking about what a bargain it was until I checked the receipt and found out I hadn't been charged for one of the racquets. I walked back to the shop and told them - got funny looks - and then they charged me for the extra. Also, when I shop in Zara they insist on putting extra things in my bag that I haven't paid for. When I either call them up or return to the shop - they give me funny looks as well!
The question that I ask myself is "How much is my integrity worth?"
Actually, it's worth a lot!
Good Luck!

@ itsallinthemind - great info regarding the legal position. Thanks!
@ petal - yep! Option c) is my "right thing" option...
Well, late last night I emailed the company to say they'd sent the item twice. It was my instinct anyway but the weight of opinion on this forum led me that way too.
I didn't make any offer about returning it but just asked "what shall I do with it?" so now it's up to them. 24 hours and nothing so far but I guess they're busy with the Christmas rush at the moment....aren't we all?!
On the "karma" front, I did have an absolutely awesome day at work today! I just hope that doesn't cancel out what the lottery owes me......!
Thanks all for your opinions. Especially as they pretty much agreed with mine (advice is always easier to take like that I reckon)
Merry Christmas everyone and may DHL bring you all one extra of everything you order too

You did pretty much what I would do - email them and tell them they sent 2 by mistake and leave it up to them
That way you have done your bit and can rest guilt-free0
